Blacksmith Boutique and Garden Studio

Using skills that she learned from her dad’s metal fabrication shop, Deb Ewoldt transforms local farmers’ scrap pieces into fashionable art for the home and garden. Recently, she was selected to create the sculpture for the entrance to the children’s garden at the Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens in nearby Waterloo.

She also launched a unique line of clothing called Rustywear. Using rusting metal, she stains articles of clothing creating a fun and exciting piece of wearable art. Ewoldt also sells numerous garden accessories to complement her work. Whether it is planters or statues, the garden studio offers a wide assortment of accessories that promise to transform a garden into a work of art.
