New Hawaii Pavilion to join the Las Vegas Souvenir & Resort Gift Show

Further expanding the show’s selection, the State of Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) will host a pavilion at the Las Vegas Souvenir & Resort Gift Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, slated September 16-19. Bringing together a versatile range gift and resort designs in a host of categories from more than 19 Hawaiian manufacturers and artisans, the Hawaii Pavilion will offer attending retailers a fresh resource to discover the best the islands have to offer.

“We are delighted to welcome the State of Hawaii DBEDT and these wonderful companies to the Las Vegas Show. Retailers are always looking for new resources to help differentiate their stores and these quality, Hawaiian-made resources certainly add yet another dimension to the show’s ever-growing product roster,” says Donna Guess, Vice President of Operations & Souvenir and Resort Shows, Urban Expositions.

As part of the promotional efforts around the new pavilion, retailers will receive a special “Hawaii Passport” when they arrive. As they place orders with the pavilion’s participating companies, they will receive a special stamp in the passport. Once their passport book is filled, buyers can turn their passports in to the show office for a chance to win either a $500 prize or an iPad.

Hawaii Pavilion companies will showcase designs in numerous categories — from jewelry and soaps to apparel, gourmet foods, souvenir items and more. Exhibiting companies include: Authentic Polynesian Carving, Bamboo Boxer Company, Bubble Shack Hawaiian Soap Company, Design Tees Hawaii, Hawaiian Resources, Island Papercraft Inc., Jams World, Joseph Kay & Company, Kailee Kauai, Kona Natural Soap Company, Lani Lau Clothing, Maui Soap Company, Pacific Ocean Dreams, Out of the Blue LLC, Reusables for Life, Sea Salts of Hawai’i, The Olivia Collection/Hawaii Pillow Company, Two Palms and more.

In addition to the new pavilion, the 2015 edition will also bring together more of the networking events and product resources the industry has come to expect, including hotel rates starting as low as $9.99 for retail buyers. The new pavilion will also further enhance the show’s unrivaled selection of more than 1300 booths showcasing thousands of lines of souvenir and resort products in a wide range of categories, including destination, resort and tourist merchandise, souvenirs, green products, T-shirts, beach items, Made in America, coastal and nautical, lake, mountain and lodge, ski-themed products, logo products, shell items, giftware, jewelry/fashion accessories, toys/games and more.
