Amy Rae Boutique – Bringing High-Fashion to the East Village
San Diego, CA – When Amy Rae Berman told her best friend she’d be opening a boutique in San Diego, Berman says her friend started to cry. “She knew I’d realized a life-long dream, and it moved her,” Berman says.
After years of monitoring the presentations and displays of the Calvin Klein merchandise at various stores from San Diego to Orange County, Berman took the leap of faith, and in December of 2013, opened her boutique on Market Street in the East Village neighborhood of downtown.
“I’ve never wanted baseball season to start more than right now. Between the current East Village development and the Convention Center traffic, we’ll really be one of the only boutiques in this area, and I’m depending on walking traffic,” Berman says.
