Artisan at Hingham Shop Finds Soapmaking ‘Relaxing’By Carol Britton MeyerHingham.WickedLocal.com

Hingham, MA – Robin Schmidt’s Dragonfly Handmade Soap is a nice addition to the wide variety of unique creations offered at the Artisans in the Square shop in downtown Hingham.

Schmidt, who has been making and selling soap for 10 years, is a firm believer in “treating yourself and your family [and friends] to handmade, natural products.” She is the newest member of the Artisans co-op, located at 63 South Street.

“Soapmaking is a bit like baking with a bit of chemistry thrown in!” she explained. “I use all-natural, food-grade vegetable oils in my soaps.”
