Artistic Arrangements Offers Gift Baskets, Unique Balloons
Fort Wayne, IN – Sheila Murphy’s dream was to open a flower shop. After all, she had worked with flowers since 1995, making floral arrangements for weddings. Then about five years ago everything changed for Murphy, who opened Artistic Arrangements LLC in April.
One day she saw an ad for a balloon video from a woman in California who was going out of business. As Murphy watched the video, she knew that was the way to go with her business that specializes in customized gift baskets and unique balloon arrangements.
Murphy has attended four balloon conventions, and became a certified balloon artist in March at the World Balloon Convention in Denver. It was there that she had to demonstrate her knowledge of principles of design, present pictures of past jobs she had completed, assemble a surprise packet and take a test. She displays the certificate proudly in her store on Brooklyn Avenue.
