Best Booth Awards given in five categories at Seattle Gift Show

Los Angeles, CA — There’s no business like show business and that was apparent at the Seattle Gift Show when Best Booth Awards were presented to some of the top performers on Sunday, January 25, 2009. The semi-annual show which is held at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center presents the Best Booth awards to exhibitors who demonstrate excellence in their use of lighting, signs/graphics, props & fixtures and booth staffing. Other factors include appealing to the five senses and creating a unique environment within their booth. Awards were presented to exhibitors in the following five product categories: Gift & Collectibles, Handmade, Home & Garden, Northwest Directions and Personal Style.

“All of our exhibitors are winners so singling out a few for special recognition was a tough choice,” said Jenay Root, Seattle Gift Show® Manager, who spearheaded the drive spotlighting creativity in booth design and presentation. “These five exhibitors showed creativity and cohesiveness throughout every element of their booth display and the way they presented themselves and their product to the buyers on the show floor. It’s exactly this combination of factors that sets a company and a product apart, attracts the attention of the buyers and leads to an order being written.”

Winners of the Best Booth Awards received a custom-made etched glass commemorative plaque, a bottle of champagne and a gift certificate redeemable at several leading Seattle restaurants. In addition, they will have complimentary access to a variety of pre-show promotional opportunities for the next market. The awards were presented out on the show floor in a roving ceremony complete with tuxedos and the congratulatory applause of neighboring exhibitors.
