888 Brannan Welcomes February 2009 Prefair and SFIGF

888 BRANNAN’s (formerly Giftcenter & Jewelrymart) annual winter PreFair Days arrive this year on February 4-6, and will be followed by 2009’s winter San Francisco International Gift Fair at the Moscone Center on February 7-10.

Wholesale gift buyers are invited to attend PreFair, which is three days of buying specials and rewards such as bottles of wine, hotel stays and also a grand prize. Buyers can also enjoy Buyer Lounges stocked with refreshments, continental breakfast upon entry and complimentary lunch coupons. This is buyers’ first chance to shop over 600 exclusive lines and get in before the crowds of Moscone.

This year’s SFIGF is themed after the unique neighborhoods of the City. 888 BRANNAN’s neck of the woods, the South of Market (SOMA) design district, will be a focal point. Much like the neighborhood itself, buyers will be able to find exquisite international products, fun and exciting children’s products, handmade jewelry and original objects d’art waiting for them at 888 BRANNAN.

Temporary showrooms with a home at 888 BRANNAN during this year’s PreFair and Gift Show are Mariner Trading in showroom 426, Tansu Designs in showroom 439 and Fumiki Wholesale in showroom 415.

Cloughesy & Co. moves to 5th floor
Cloughesy & Co. rings in 2009 in a new showroom, 505. The move was prompted by 888 BRANNAN owners in order to free up space on the 3rd floor for possible tenants seeking large square footage. Cloughesy’s new showroom is a compliment to the existing 5th floor showrooms, and rounds out an already diverse collection of merchandise on the floor.
