Exeter, NH – ‘Shop local’ is a buzzworthy term consistently used around the Seacoast and local business owners say it’s a growing trend, highlighted by bustling downtowns in Exeter and Hampton that offer a bevy of options.

“There seems to be a greater awareness with most customers supporting shopping local. This movement has allowed us to retain more local shoppers and increase our customer base,” said Karen Collins who opened Hampton’s Quicksilver Jewelry in 1986.

Collins attributes the growing trend to the relationship and trust between a shop owner and customer.
