C & F Enterprises Licenses “Surf Rider” from Artist Heidi Dobrott

C & F Enterprises introduces a Heidi Dobrott collection to debut at summer markets.

The Surf Rider quilt is a patchwork of “SoCal” vignettes — starfish, palm trees and long boards conjure images of early morning wave riding. When asked about the idea for this design, Heidi said, “I am so inspired by the amazing coastal environment that I have called home all my life. The colors… the sounds… sand… the scent of ocean air. This collection reflects the fun, often kitschy surf culture I am surrounded by every day, right outside my front door.”

Heidi Dobrott is one of the most well known and sought after designers to come out of the trendsetting California surf and resort industry. Her artwork shimmers with a youthful sun-drenched spirit, never losing its playful side.

Accessory pillows in the Surf rider collection are embellished with surf scenes and related word art (18″ x 18″). A coordinating pillow is covered in blue and white hibiscus (14″ x 18″). The accent rug focuses on one classic icon, a blue and wood paneled “woodie” station wagon (2′ x 3′). Drapery panels finish the look, mirroring the quilt pattern. A tote bag is also available.

Retail price points for items in the collection range from $35 pillows to $165 full/queen quilt.

Heidi’s design can be seen on a variety of merchandise from paper goods to home furnishings, dinnerware to textiles… with products most recently in Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdales & Target.
