California Marketplace Temporaries united for summer market

Offering West Coast retailers the ideal opportunity to discover California-made specialties, global styles and artisan designs, the July 21-24, 2017 edition of the California Marketplace Temporaries brings order-writing and cash & carry exhibitors back together under one roof at the Los Angeles Convention Center’s Kentia Hall. Backed by a strong promotional alliance with the LA Mart permanent showroom building, the summer market will bring a tremendous selection together for retailers looking for fresh, new merchandise to stand out from the competition and boost those fourth quarter sales.
“Our show attendance draws heavily from Southern California and other parts of the western region and these retailers, like all retailers, are searching for those new, different and undiscovered resources that can attract new customers and sales,” said Christina Bell Davis, vice president, Gift & Souvenir. “For summer, we’re bringing all of our temporary exhibitors together under one roof with the key goal of showcasing even more of the trend-forward designs, impulse items and Southern California styles that can help retailers set their stores apart – in one easily accessible location.”
Summer 2017 show highlights:
Retailers will be able to shop all California Marketplace Temporaries on one easy-to-work floorplan. Show categories include Gift, Makers’ Market, Personal Style, Boardwalk/Souvenir/Resort, World Style, Jewelry Cash & Carry/Treasures To Go and Vintage exhibitors.

Going Global | more World Style resources The California show’s World Style section is known for its blend of global style and fashion resources.  For summer, retailers can expect to find many of the popular sellers they know and love as well as fresh new resources, too.

LA Gift & Home Market Week As an added bonus, one badge gives buyers access to so much more! This summer the California Marketplace Temporaries once again partner with the LA Mart Permanent Showroom building’s Summer Market to co-host Los Angeles Gift & Home Market Week.  A single buyer badge provides access to both LA Gift & Home Market venues, including California Marketplace Temporaries at the LA Convention Center and the LA Mart Permanent showrooms. For added convenience, complimentary shuttles will be available between both venues and host hotels.

Easy ExpressPass registration and parking rebate for pre-registered buyers Buyers are encouraged to take advantage of the show’s easy, online ExpressPass™ registration. Buyers who pre-register for their ExpressPass™ are eligible to receive a $10 rebate on parking at the Los Angeles Convention Center lots (offer valid only from July 21-24, 2017).
Show amenities Retailers can also take advantage of show specials offered by exhibitors, including discounts, free freight and more. And, to help them plan their buying schedule, attendees can visit the special Launching Pad and other Product Preview displays in the registration area before stepping on to the show floor.
