Cheers, Man Wah USA Relocates as Part of Renewed Partnership with Las Vegas Market, Expands Showroom to Nearly 15,400 Square Feet

Las Vegas, NV – Man Wah USA, producers of the Cheers sofa line, continues to grow its business at Las Vegas Market by expanding to nearly 15,400 square feet of space in Building B, Suite B-600 for the upcoming Market, Aug. 1-5.

The expansion and relocation is part of a three-year contract renewal for Man Wah and Cheers at Las Vegas Market.

“We are very excited to debut our tremendous new showroom at the summer Las Vegas Market,” said Stephen Barr, president and executive director of Man Wah USA, Inc. “This expanded space will serve to better highlight Cheers’ exceptional new furniture offerings, perfect for today’s lifestyle and consumer. With this and our exciting marketing efforts, we’re looking forward to exceeding all expectations this August.”

In addition to the expansion, Cheers aims to drive even more buyer traffic into its showroom by integrating a full kitchen and bar into the new space, where they will serve lunch daily through Aug. 3.

Cheers also plans to celebrate its buyers by hosting a Market Party at Lavo Italian Restaurant & Nightclub at Palazzo the first night of Las Vegas Market, Aug. 1. That evening, exclusive guests of Cheers will be invited to indulge in complimentary dinner, cocktails and fun at the popular Las Vegas nightspot.

“It is these types of unique promotions, thinking outside of the box, that sows the seeds of market success,” said Tom Mitchell, home furnishings president of International Market Centers, parent company of World Market Center Las Vegas. “Cheers has created an innovative way to conduct outreach to its buyers that not only showcases their appreciation, but also recognizes their desire to continue. This renewed partnership perfectly blends Market-sponsored programming with inventive exhibitor-sponsored events that jointly attracts buyers to Las Vegas Market, and ultimately into the showroom.”

Based on the latest fiscal year sales, Man Wah ranked No. 10 on Furniture/Today’s ranking of the Top 25 furniture sources for the U.S. market, up from No. 23 the previous year.
