Classic Charm Gift Shoppe offering unique gifts, decorBy Dorothy MarkulisStowSentry.com

Stow — If you’re looking for an unusual gift, Jean Ryan suggests visiting her new business, Classic Charm Gift Shoppe.

“If you don’t want the same old thing, this is the place to come,” said Ryan, owner of the shop, located at 4326 Kent Road.

The shop is a dream come true for Ryan, a registered nurse who started crafting eight years ago. She described crafting as “relaxation” therapy for the stresses of her vocation.

Nearly 50 local crafters and vendors display in Ryan’s almost 4,000 square feet shop.

“We have homemade crafts and sweets, soaps, oils and perfumes,” Ryan said. “We have a lot of one of a kind items and many great gift ideas.”

The shop also includes many “green” items made with recycled products.

Interior decorator and one of the store managers, Laura Cariglio, has created a shop that is shopper-friendly with a “homey” feeling. Co-manager is Amanda Lueck.

“It’s a beautiful place to shop,” Ryan said. “And it smells good, too.”

Contributing to the good smell is freshly brewed coffee, which shoppers are urged to sample.
