Company C Announces Launch of Organic Bedding Line

Company C, a Concord, NH-based designer and manufacturer of colorful home furnishings and accents, has announced the launch of its new line of organic bedding called Company C Organics.

The new line includes the Fountain collection of quilts and shams in six signature Company C colors. It also includes the Shaye collection of duvet covers and shams and the Finley collection of sheets and European shams – both collections come in three signature Company C colors.

“Sustainable sourcing is a very important part of our mission and we are happy to bring to market a gorgeous new line that is GOTS certified,” said Christine Chapin, co founder and Chief Colorful Living Officer. “The Global Organic Textiles Standard is one of the best certifications for organic textiles. Our new collections are not only Company C colorful, but also sustainably sourced.”

Since 2005, Company C has supported sustainable rug sourcing by partnering with GoodWeave. The GoodWeave mission ensures that rugs bearing the GoodWeave label have been handmade without the use of child labor. GoodWeave also promotes and supports ethical work standards with rug factories. Company C donates a percentage of the revenue from rugs sold, which goes directly to the cause.

“For the past 20 years we have continually pushed ourselves to find ways to give back, whether to the environment or specific communities. This is such an important aspect in our mission of bringing colorful living into our customers’ lives and homes,” said Chapin. “We’re very proud of our vendor partners who are committed to sustainable practices. All of our upholstery is manufactured in North Carolina factories that have received the home furnishings industry’s highest recognition for environmental stewardship.”

The new organic bedding line, along with the entire Spring 2014 collection, can be seen now at AmericasMart Atlanta, and in Dallas and Las Vegas later this the month.
