Curious Chef Now Available in Australia

Curious Chef®, the first complete kitchen and utensil line designed specifically for children, has announced that their products are now available in Australia. Australian based distributor, Little Smiles, Pty, Ltd., now represents the children’s cooking utensil manufacturer.

Little Smiles, distributes products nationally within Australia to a variety of chain stores and independent retailers. Steven Kruyer, President of Little Smiles, notes, “We picked up the Curious Chef® Line because we saw it as a product that had mass appeal and the ability to become a strong international brand.” According to Kruyer, “the product line has been well received by several of our key customers.” Part of this popularity is due to the growing interest in kids cooking products within Australia. “Currently there is an amazing amount of media attention aimed at the Junior Master Chef [an Australian children’s reality cooking show] and Curious Chef® is an absolutely ideal product for this market,” Kruyer notes.

For its part, Curious Chef® is excited to be reaching beyond the US boarders to target international markets. “Spending time together in the kitchen as a family is a theme that has global appeal.
