Dallas Leasing Update: Celebrity Chefs & an Extensive Array of Housewares & Gourmet

Dallas Market Center today announced that the Dallas Total Housewares & Gourmet Market, Jan. 15-21, will feature more than 1,500 premier manufacturers of housewares and gourmet products, dozens of special events, seminars and cooking and product demonstrations.

“Since the launch of the Total Housewares & Gourmet Market last year, we have seen a double-digit increase in gourmet buyer attendance,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “The combination of our comprehensive product offerings and interactive opportunities, such as demonstrations at The Culinary Stage and Housewares Hotspot, has elevated the energy of the Marketplace.”

Several exhibitors offered during the Total Housewares & Gourmet Market include: Architec, Trade Mart (TM) 2-2503; Capabunga, TM 2-2503; Charles Viancin, TM 2-2503; Lifetime Brands, TM 2-2630; Port Style, TM 2-2503; Robert Rothschild Farm, TM 2-2503; Royal Crown Derby, TM 2-2400; and Sparq, TM 2-2503. Several new lines in the Gourmet Market, WTC 1-180 include: Bialetti Espresso, Blendtec, Mr. Ice Bucket and many more.

For the first time during a January Market, the Table & Housewares Temps will be featured front and center in the expanded temporaries area on WTC 1st floor next to the Gourmet Market, offering functional gifts, dining, cooking and entertaining wares, as well as clever items for the home. New exhibitors include: Cowboy Living, Mr. Ice Bucket, Potterex, Richell, Sunnbattery, TRUE, Unicorn Studio, Vero France, Zwilling/JA Henckles and The Southern Blue Ridge Co. Several returning exhibitors include: Corbell Silver, Di Porter, Evergreen Crystal, Forked Up Art, Gena Knox Media, Going Stemless, Janet Basket, French Mimosa, Lappers and Lenox/Dansk/Gorham.

Demonstrations by high-profile chefs will take place throughout Market at The Culinary Stage on WTC 1st floor, including:

· Alex Hitz, celebrity chef, cookbook author and founder of the luxury gourmet food product line The Beverly Hills Kitchen, on Friday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m.

· Chris Hanmer, a rising star in the pastry industry and winner of Bravo’s “Top Chef Just Desserts”, on Saturday, Jan. 18 at noon

· Grady Spears, established restaurateur, cookbook author and chef at Grady’s Line Camp Steakhouse, on Thursday, Jan. 16 at noon

· Daniel Pittman, executive chef and co-owner of LUCK Restaurant, on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m.

· Anthony Van Camp, executive chef of SER Steak + Spirits at the Hilton Anatole, on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m.

Housewares Hotspot will offer more than 15 product demonstrations from top housewares manufacturers on Thursday, Jan. 16 through Saturday, Jan. 18 from 1 to 3 p.m., Trade Mart 2nd floor.
