Dallas Market Center hosts ASID Design Ovation Awards

Dallas Market Center hosts the Texas Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designer’s 2016 Design Ovation Interior Design Awards and the 2015 Designer Choice Awards Thursday, May 5 at 6 p.m. in the World Trade Center Hall of Nations.

“Design is the heart of our daily business at the Market Center,” Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center, said. “We embrace the design community and look forward to continuing to grow our partnerships with incredible associations like ASID.”

Design Ovation recognizes achievements in interior design, architecture and special contributions to the Dallas design community. The winners of a juried design competition are honored in a wide range of categories. Over 150 entries were submitted for consideration this year.  The “Best of Show” category, where judges allocate a perfect score, will be presented by sponsor Verona Martinez, owner and CEO of Verona Prive.

The Designer Choice Awards recognizes the exemplary ASID Industry Partners who make practitioners’ projects possible for the Dallas design community.

Widely attended by designers, educators, industry partners and design students, the awards ceremony allows the design community to network and to celebrate those who have contributed to successful and noteworthy design ventures.
