Dallas’ September market: best attended in five years

Dallas Market Center announces remarkable gains in attendance at the September Total Home & Gift Market with an increase of 15 percent and significant gains in attendance by out of territory buyers.

“As attendance grows, the September Market continues to be an important fall event,” Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center, said. “Dallas will continue to expand, diversify and exceed buyer demands with new lines, expanding showrooms and new buying opportunities.”

Regions including Mid-America, Southeast, Northeast and MINK (Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas) experienced attendance gains of more than 20 percent with new store attendance up by 15 percent.

September Market offers buyers the opportunity to stock their shelves with highly sought-after home and gift items for the holiday buying season. As the last Market of the year, September’s Total Home & Gift Market is an important growth facilitator for many businesses by offering them additional items to improve their fourth quarter revenue.

Preparations for the Total Home & Gift Market, January 18-24, 2017, are underway with new lines, showrooms expansions, featured events and keynote speakers. Travel arrangements for January Market can be made at a discount through Market Travel.
