Dallas Market Center Announces Home for the Holidays Exhibit Designers

Dallas, TX – Dallas Market Center, the world’s most complete wholesale marketplace and the home of Christmas, today announced the designers for its Home for the Holidays exhibit. The impressive display is a 4,200-square-foot, eight-room home furnished and decorated for the holidays presented during its Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, June 23-29, 2010. The home will feature products from showrooms throughout Dallas Market Center and will be located in The Grand Pavilion at the Trade Mart. Christmas displays, seminars, and other events during market will also accompany the Home for the Holidays exhibit.

“We have selected talented and innovative designers from the region to bring the exhibit to life,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “It will offer buyers an inspiring visual experience and a chance to see a wide range of furniture, decorative accessories, and holiday décor from our showrooms.”

Dallas Market Center and Design Guide will host a Home for the Holidays Kick-off Party from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23 in The Grand Pavilion at the Trade Mart. Market attendees and the public are welcome to enjoy wine, beer, hors d’oeuvres and a first look at the 2010 Home for the Holidays exhibit.

This year’s featured designers are:

Glen Boudreaux, Glen Boudreaux & Associates – Boudreaux is principal of Glen Boudreaux & Associates. He relates architectural and design fundamentals to client preferences as he conducts customized, high-profile projects from conception through installation, focusing on the details of design and function. He will design the breakfast room.

Beth Dotolo, Nest Interior Design – Dotolo is the vice president of interior design for Nest Interior Design. She authors the stylish “Nest” interior design blog, where she shares the latest in home interior design trends along with sharing interviews and guest blogs with other designers and bloggers. She will design the master bedroom.

Abbe Fenimore, STUDIO TEN.25 – Fenimore is a Dallas-based designer specializing in residential and commercial interiors, offering full-service decorating, remodeling, new construction project management, design consulting and home staging. She will design the dining room.

Jimmie Sue Hoekenga, Designs Delivered – Hoekenga is the principal of Designs Delivered, a full-service interior design firm based in Fort Worth, Texas. She will design the guest bedroom.

Katie Reynolds, Lilli-Design – Reynolds is the owner of Lilli-Design LLC, a Dallas-based interior design firm that specializes in residential design and creating unique and imaginative nursery and children’s rooms. She will design the children’s room.

Rhonda Vandiver, RSVP Design Services – Vandiver is the owner of RSVP Design Services, a full-service interior design firm that specializes in luxury homes, executive offices, retail spaces, hospitality services, and event décor in the Addison and Dallas area. The firm creates a warm and inviting casual elegance that reflects the client’s personal style. She will design the game room.

Elaine Williamson, Elaine Williamson Designs – Williamson is principal of Dallas-based Elaine Williamson Designs, a full-service, award-winning firm that specializes in high-end custom interior design and style making for luxury residential and high-rise properties, as well as commercial and retail projects nationwide. She will design the formal living room.

Lesley Hughes Wyman and Tamara Ainsworth, Matchline Design Group – Wyman and Ainsworth honed their skills at some of Dallas’ top internationally recognized design firms. Together as registered interior designers, Lesley and Tamara bring more than 20 years of experience in the design industry. They will be designing the den/media room.

The Home for the Holidays showcase home will be open to market attendees for free touring during market hours, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, and Friday until 8 p.m. Visitors will see a wide variety of products – ranging from furniture and home accents to floor coverings, wall décor, tabletop, textiles and Christmas decor – displayed in a formal living room, dining room, breakfast room, master bedroom, children’s room, guest room, game room, and a den/media room.
