Divine Treasures reopens in Mission Viejo
Mission Viejo, CA – The owners of gift shop Divine Treasures have reopened at the Mission Viejo Marketplace on the corner of Oso and Marguerite parkways after vacating the Ladera Ranch Mercantile West Shopping Center in September.
Divine Treasures, now located in a smaller space of a Pavilions center, signed its new lease with property manager Lee and Associates after the store’s lease ended with Westar, said representatives from the property management companies.
Divine Treasures, the gift shop formerly located in the Mercantile West Shopping Center in Ladera Ranch, has moved to the Mission Viejo Marketplace on the corner of Oso and Marguerite parkways.
John Hall – president of the Irvine office of Lee and Associates, which manages the Mission Viejo Marketplace – said it’s been a challenge to find businesses that are willing to sign new leases.
With the opening of Divine Treasures and a frame store set to come to the center, Hall said, “Things are actually picking up a little.”
“Divine Treasures and the frame shop should complement each other,” said Hall.
Hall said Divine Treasures would draw customers from Mission Viejo and Ladera Ranch.
“Oso (Parkway) is a natural corridor for people from Ladera going out to the freeway,” Hall said.
Co-owner of Divine Treasures Heather Norrell-Green did not return a request for comment.
Business owners who remain in the Mercantile West Center said they were sorry to see Divine Treasures – a shop that drew foot traffic to the center – leave the community.
