Eastern World Influences Woodstock Chimes’ Summer 2014 Launch

Woodstock Chimes, a leading manufacturer of musically tuned windchimes, soothing home and garden décor, and high quality gifts, has seen its eastern world-themed product sales grow over the last five years. Given the increase and consumer interest, the company continues to expand its offerings in this category, at multiple price points, not only with windchimes, but also with their robust line of Woodstock Rainbow Makers™ Crystal Suncatchers. The latest slate of high quality gift items will launch during the summer 2014 market season in Dallas, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and most other major markets.

Five of six new windchimes are a line extension of the popular Woodstock Feng Shui Chime™ – Elements series with natural, cherry finish ash wood. Each chime represents a Feng Shui element:

· Fire – creativity and passion (FSNFI)

· Earth – balance and nourishment (FSNEA)

· Wood – renewal (FSNWO)

· Water – growth and deep calm (FSNWA)

· Metal – clear and centering (FSNMT)

The chimes feature five silver aluminum tubes and a silkscreened windcatcher with a corresponding Chinese character. A single genuine stone accent is stationed above every Feng Shui Chime windcatcher, correlating with the chime’s specific element: red (fire), purple (earth), green (wood), blue (water), and gray (metal). In addition, the original musical scale for these chimes was derived through chance and divination, by casting coins and referencing the I Ching. Each chime in this series measures 16” in length and retails for $20.

A display package with four of each chime, plus a free Tabletop Display, is available (FSNPKG), as well as a convenient re-order assortment with one of each of the five chimes (FSNE5).

The sixth metaphysical chime debuting this summer is the Woodstock Chakra Chime – Seven Stones, Large, Blue (CC7LB). This chime’s exquisite design aesthetic is composed of an azure blue wash-finished pine wood topper and windcatcher, seven silver aluminum tubes, and seven colorful stone accents. The stone accents, suspended through the chime’s center, symbolize the seven basic chakras. Each chakra location has a unique meaning and healing potential. This piece is also a line extension based off the popular Seven Stones, Large, Black Chime, which launched in 2011.

The seven stones in this chime denote one of the spine’s seven energy centers: Amethyst (Crown Chakra), Lapis (Brow Chakra), Turquoise (Throat Chakra), Aventurine (Heart Chakra), Citrine (Solar Plexus Chakra), Carnelian (Sacral Chakra), and Red Coral (Base Chakra). The chime is tuned to chakra frequencies, measures 24” in length, and retails for $45.

Also illustrative of the seven chakras are the new jewelry offerings from the Woodstock Rainbow Makers Collection: Crystal Chakra Earrings (CWCE) and Crystal Chakra Necklace (CWCN). Both feature genuine Swarovski(R) Elements Crystals, and expand Woodstock Chimes’ crystal jewelry offerings, which also includes Angel Wing Earrings.

Each chakra is linked to an energy center and is represented by a specific color: violet, indigo, turquoise, green, yellow, orange, and red. The earrings and necklace are designed to be equal parts healing and beauty.

The earrings, which feature the crystals in constellation style, have platinum plated brass, sterling silver ear wires, measure 1.5” in length, and retail for $26 per pair. Whereas, the Chakra Crystal Necklace charm piece is presented in circular form, with an eyelet center, and is set on an 18” platinum plated brass chain, and retails for $20.

“Given our strong metaphysical customer base and the positive response to our Rainbow Makers Angel Wing Earrings, we decided to bring the two concepts together,” said Garry Kvistad, founder and owner of Woodstock Chimes. “We’re excited about these products and it will be exciting to see the marketplace’s response to our additions in this category. They all make great gifts for a variety of occasions.”
