ELK Group International Expands Footprint, Relocates to New Showroom at Las Vegas Market

World Market Center Las Vegas today announced that ELK Group International, a home furnishings leader made up of eleven brands including the recently announced partnership with HGTV, will expand its presence at Las Vegas Market and relocate to a larger showroom as it gears up for Summer 2012 Las Vegas Market, July 30 – Aug. 3, 2012.

The company is transitioning from a 1,336 square-foot showroom located in Building A, Suite 347 and a 2,926 square foot showroom in Building A, Suite 455 to a 10,176-square-foot showroom that will be located in Building A, Suite 416. The need for expansion comes as the result of ELK’s aggressive expansion during the last two years, a significant portion through acquisitions and a start-up. The company now owns DIMOND, Sterling Industries, Bailey Street as well as several other lighting entities. Its product line encompasses lighting (fixture and portable), mirrors, home décor and accent furniture.

John Haste, Vice President Sales and Marketing for ELK Group International stated, “The expansion in Las Vegas provides a much needed western footprint to showcase our offering of over 5,000 products to current and potential customers.”

“The expansion of ELK Group International during the last two years is indicative of the rebound being seen throughout the home furnishings industry,” said Robert Maricich, president and chief executive officer of International Market Centers, parent company of World Market Center Las Vegas. “We couldn’t be happier that they will be expanding their footprint at Las Vegas Market, and offering buyers access to their complete product line.”
