Emerald Expositions launches two new shows, announces partnership

Emerald Expositions has announced the launch of two trade shows scheduled for 2017 and a strategic partnership with the PROSPER Show, which will be co-located with ASD Market Week in March 2017.

Emerald is launching the Pizza & Pasta Northeast show, which will be held Oct. 17-18, 2017, at the Atlantic City Convention Center in NJ. Emerald is also launching Jewellery Box, a curated trade show for high-quality, on-trend jewelry at price points ranging from entry level to moderate. It will be co-located with Emerald’s Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch event at the Las Vegas Convention Center in June 2017.

New regional Pizza & Pasta show announced

The 2017 Pizza & Pasta Northeast show will feature food demonstrations, contests, educational sessions and an exhibit hall showcasing top suppliers for both of these food service segments. Emerald also produces the International Pizza Expo, which returns March 27-30 to the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“This is in no way a replacement to Pizza Expo for East Coast pizzeria operators and their staffs, but more of an opportunity to let them be a part of this regional two-day experience,” said Bill Oakley, Group Show Director – Food Group for Emerald.

“Most of our eastern US attendees need two days of travel in order to attend Pizza Expo, making it difficult to attend the entire four-day show, which would keep them from their pizzeria for an entire week,” said Oakley. “This event is a natural progression and one that we hope will allow more restaurateurs and pizzeria operators the opportunity to experience some of the things they have been missing for years now at the International Pizza Expo.

Emerald launches Jewelry Box

Jewellery Box will be Emerald’s third jewelry event to be produced in Las Vegas during jewelry Market Week and its ninth annual jewelry event nationwide.

Emerald also produces Couture, a high-end luxury jewelry event, at the Wynn Resort, during Jewelry Market Week.

“After seeing affordable fine and contemporary jewelry dominate at retail this year, we are thrilled to give retail buyers a fresh option to expand their buying power during Las Vegas Jewelry Market Week with a curated contemporary selection that directly aligns with their customers’ price point needs,” said Karalynn Sprouse, Executive Vice President of Emerald’s ASD Merchandise, Manufacturing and International Sourcing Group.

ASD Partners with the PROSPER Show

ASD is partnering with the PROSPER Show, a continuing education conference for Amazon sellers. The 2017 PROSPER Show will be co-located with the SOURCE DIRECT and ASD Market Week shows March 19-22, 2017 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. PROSPER Show attendees will have free access to these two shows, where they can meet with more than 2,600 vendors. ASD Las Vegas – March ranked No. 17 in the 2015 Trade Show Executive Gold 100 directory.

“ASD Market Week is very excited to welcome more than 1,000 new buyers to our Spring event covering 19 retail categories with many sub-categories offering the PROSPER Show attendees the opportunity to see thousands of vendors and hundreds of thousands of products,” said Camille Candella, VP of Marketing for ASD Market Week.
