Emporium Home to Receive ARTS Awards’ Rising Star Honor

Dallas Market Center today announced that Emporium Home of Little Rock, Ark., an emerging resource for high-style home furnishings, will receive the Rising Star Award at the 25th annual ARTS Awards on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. The Rising Star Award recognizes innovation and modern excellence demonstrated by a home industry company that has been in business less than three years, selected by a committee of industry peers.

“We’re pleased to pay tribute to Emporium Home, which has quickly made its mark on the home industry with its high-quality, fashion-forward designs,” said Bill Winsor, president and CEO, Dallas Market Center. “We look forward to honoring the company and its achievements at the ARTS Awards gala.”

Emporium Home embodies fashion for interiors – furniture, lighting, mirrors, art and other accessories – and is committed to creating unique and beautiful products that bring inspiration and edge to the environment in which they inhabit. Each piece is designed with a keen eye for high style and hand crafted by traditional artisans using natural materials. Since variances occur, each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art.

Creative Director and Founder Ashley Childers has created an eclectic lifestyle collection that transcends the label of traditional or modern. As a native Arkansan, she embraces gracious living and southern tradition in a chic and modern way, which is a constant inspiration for the Emporium Home aesthetic.

ARTS Awards, developed by the non-profit ART and produced by Dallas Market Center, is the premier international awards program for the home industry – honoring designers, manufacturers, retailers and sales representatives – and is held each January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market. The ARTS Awards black-tie gala is attended by nearly 700 industry leaders who are among the tens of thousands of Market attendees.
