Furry Couture Kicks it Up a Notch at Douglas Company

There is something about peace signs and animal prints that make little girls swoon, and plush toy maker and lifestyle gift creator Douglas Company has its finger on the pulse when it comes to making little girls happy. Douglas’ very fancy, very glam Furry Couture™ collection continues to impress as it graces the coming year’s runway. Four new Furry Couture designs will make their fashion debut at the 2012 Winter Gift and Toy Shows.

Peace signs remain the rage when it comes to stepping up your fashion game, and for that reason two of the new Furry Couture bags are branded with an intricately embroidered peace sign embellishment. Duchess Westie has the details of a Westie but the body is an oval-shaped bag that is done up in watercolor pinks with an embroidered yellow peace sign toward the tail end. A sweet ruffled skirting borders the bag. Pippa Golden Retriever also boasts a very cool embroidered green peace sign. While this bag has the details of a Golden, the oval-shaped body of the bag is uber cool in tie-dye shades of green and yellow.

Two more Furry Couture bags are making their runway walk albeit on the wild side this season. Rachel Chihuahua is crazy hot in regal purple cheetah print outlined in sheer purple ruffles that are trimmed in satin. This fabric is truly upscale with an almost glitter sheen to it. Equally elegant in hot pink cheetah print is Kira Shih-Tzu. She, too, is skirted in fanciful ruffling that has been trimmed in satin. Each animal print Furry Couture bag wears a full feather boa around the animal’s neck for an extra touch of glam.

Furry Couture bags have a suggested retail price of $25 each. Douglas products are sold at specialty gift and toy stores in the USA, Canada and Europe. The new line will appear first at the Atlanta Gift Show at the 225 Unlimited Inc. Showroom, suite 1718, AmericasMart and the NY Int’l Toy Fair, booth # 373.
