GeoArt by Cynthia Gale Introduces ArtKnots: A Sophisticated and Versatile Way to Mix and Match Pearls, Gemstones and Your Strands From Home

GeoArt by Cynthia Gale has just launched a new collection featuring an assortment of colored freshwater pearls, beaded accent gemstone strands, and S-Hooks with the ArtKnots Collection. ArtKnots is a sophisticated, yet fun way to mix and match pearls creating dozens of different looks for any occasion, and also allowing for the versatility of adding strands from one’s own collection.

The pearls are available in white, chocolate and olive colors, fully knotted with the knots dyed to match the color of the freshwater pearls, creating an elegant look. Both the pearl and gemstone strands are available in 34″ and 38″ lengths. The beaded accent gemstone strands, feature garnet, white pearl, smoky topaz or peridot, with sterling silver chain links and decorative sterling silver bead accents. For Spring 2012, champagne colored pearl strands will be added to the collection.

What makes ArtKnots spectacular is the six different styles of S-Hooks, which are used to mix and match strands. The decorative elements on the S-Hooks are: a floral pattern, feathers, a nude goddess, filigree with white pearl, double Celtic hearts and a sterling silver and 14K plated two tone quatrefoil.

Each strand comes with a foldout card illustrating the many versatile ways Art Knots can be worn. Styles shown include: the Cascade, Twisted S, Double S Opera, Triple S Opera, and Twisted Knot.

Says Cynthia Gale, “ArtKnots offers the GeoArt customer an opportunity to get creative… what woman doesn’t want to customize her accessories to suit her mood and wardrobe? Strands of high quality hand-knotted chocolate, white and olive freshwater pearls are wrapped, twisted, knotted and held in place with decorative solid sterling silver S-hooks. Combined with colorful lengths of delicate semi-precious stones in white pearl, smoky topaz, peridot and garnet, fresh looks and exciting necklace silhouettes result. With ArtKnots, I like to think about the confident woman of the 1920’s who wore her pearls with chic femininity. In fact, the new collection will be featured at the Brooklyn Museum’s Youth and Beauty: Art of the American Twenties exhibit, which opens Thursday, October 27, 2011, in celebration of this pearl loving generation. Visit the exhibit and wrap yourself in luxury with ArtKnots!” Sallie Stutz, Vice Director for Merchandising at the Brooklyn Museum echoes Cynthia when she says, “In preparation for our upcoming exhibition featuring American Art of the 1920’s, Cynthia made a store visit to teach our staff how to drape, twist and wear the Art Knot collection in the style of the flappers. Using the S- hooks, she created long draping pearls and strands of faceted beads that are evident in the attire of 1920’s women. It is a perfect assortment to compliment our new exhibition.”
