Gift store opens next to Red Flower BarnBy Art PulisWickenburgSun.com

Friends and business partners Patricia Van Pelt and Jacqueline Parent have teamed up to open their first retail enterprise, Trail West Merchants at 350 North Tegner.

The 1000-square foot, completely remodeled store features an eclectic assortment of new, used, collectable, and antique merchandise. Offerings include original artwork from several local artisans including stained glasswork, oil paintings, wood carvings, and hand-made jewelry.

In the Kidde Korner are several unique and one of a kind children’s toys, stuffed animals, and related gift items perfect for a grandma to give to that special grandchild. Some of the collectable children’s items include old toys, books, and even tea sets.

Also is a Grandma’s Corner where antique and other collectable items are found including vintage tea and coffee sets, china sets, cookie jars, and other rare items. Western items are also featured in the store including both old and new leather goods and other gift items that would go well with a Southwestern decor.
