GLM Partners with Whereoware to Create Online Catalog Galleries

White Plains, NY – For the first time, retailers will lead fellow retailers during the Daily Demos at the National Stationery Show (NSS), as select exhibitors team up with one of their retail customers to take participants step-by-step through an interactive demonstration. Presented in partnership with Greetings etc. magazine for the sixth consecutive year, the series of 45-minute Daily Demos will each feature a make-and-take project for attendees of the 2008 market, taking place May 18-21, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. This year’s Daily Demo theme is “Creating Ideas to Take Back to Your Store.”

“The Daily Demos have become a strong tradition at the NSS, providing a fun and engaging activity for attendees who want to take a brief break from the Show floor and explore their creative side,” said Patti Stracher, show manager. “Two important elements of this Show are connecting with peers and learning from each other, and the Daily Demos serve as an opportunity to achieve both objectives.”

Crafting Holiday Accessories

Sasha DeMarino, multi-media artist for Savoir Faire, demonstrates how to craft holiday accessories alongside retailer Bonnie Shefts, owner of Jerry’s Artist Outlet in West Orange, NJ.

2:30 pm, Green Paper Company

Joan Schnee, owner of Green Paper Company, teams up with retailer Tracy Schwartz, owner of Creative Parties in Bethesda, MD, to take participants step-by-step though the process of crafting a holiday accessory.
