Gourmet growth continues at Las Vegas Market

Las Vegas Market announced that another nine new showrooms and more than a dozen new gourmet lines will debut on Floors C1 and C11, for the Summer 2017 Market, which runs July 30-August 3, 2017.  With the addition of these new gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and specialty food suppliers, the Las Vegas Market will offer buyers access to 400+ gourmet resources across 40 showroom floors and two temporary gift and home décor Pavilions.

“Gourmet keeps growing at Las Vegas Market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift Leasing and Chief Marketing Officer, International Market Centers. “Since our 2015 launch of C11 – the industry’s most dynamic new destination for gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and specialty food – gourmet resources have grown exponentially, making Las Vegas the nation’s fastest growing gift and home décor market.”

For the Summer Market, C11 welcomes three new showrooms: gourmet candy maker Katie’s Candies in 183 square feet; the LuRay Collection of fine linens in 183 square feet; and Sertodo Copper, a supplier of copper tabletop, drinkware and serveware in 409 square feet.  In addition, more than a dozen leading gourmet lines will debut on the floor with multi-line sales agencies Muir Sales, The Kitchen Source and The Travers Group.  The Travers Group, welcomes DKB Household and its five gourmet housewares brands: Cole & Mason, Culinare, Jamie Oliver, Ken Home and Zyliss; The Kitchen Source welcomes Dreamfarm; and Muir Sales brings eight new lines: Chic Wrap, Comfify, Full Circle, Kitchen IQ, Rango Honey, Swedish Treasures, TaDa and Tala.

Six new gourmet-related showrooms also will debut on C1, including: tabletop and gift supplier AMEICO and Areaware, a producer of functional and unusual everyday objects, in 1,168 square feet; tabletop and home décor manufacturer Casafina; tabletop provider Costa Nova; tabletop and bakeware supplier Grestel in 669 square feet; and tableware and home décor manufacturer Kiyasa in 685 square feet.

Outside of the permanent showrooms, The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market also will house growing numbers of gourmet lines among its 500+ gift and home décor temporary exhibitors. New-to-market gourmet exhibitors in Pavilion 1 include: Albanese Confections, Bear Paw, CookPlay USA, Culver Industries, Debbie Lee’s Classic Creations, McSteven’s and Talla Imports. Returning gourmet exhibitors in Pavilion 1 include: BeerCap Trap, Blomus/SKS USA, Capabunga, Cose Nuove, Country Home Creations, Crown Linen Designs, Eastern Elm, Eleven Design Studio, Gage, Going Stemless, Inspired Generations, J. Johnson and Co., McCall’s Candles, Modgy, Out of the Woods of Oregon, Rendezvous: French Style Living, SCSR Innovations, Simply Scrumptious Confections, South Bend Chocolate, Sparkles Home, Supreme Housewares, True Brands, Vestiges, Via Graceffo and Virginia Brands.

These newcomers join an impressive roster of high-end gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and specialty food exhibitors already exhibiting at Las Vegas Market, including Aesthetic Movement (representing Sir/Madam, Fishs Eddy); Alessi; bambu home; Canvas Home; Chukar Cherries; Circa Asia; Design Imports; Eva Solo; Hammond’s Candies; Harold Import Company; JURA; Magenta; Match; Mepra; Muir Sales (representing Vitamix, Messermeister, Kitchen Innovations ) Olivia Reigel; Pepper Creek Farms; Reidel; Sea Stones; Sagaform USA; Skyros Designs; and The Travers Group (representing SodaStream, Joseph Joseph).

As part of a related attendance-building strategy, Las Vegas Market is continuing and expanding its partnership with two major housewares buying groups, the Gourmet Catalog Buying Group and the Housewares Training & Information Group (HTI).  Both organizations will have exclusive and unique activities and promotions to entice their western region buyers to attend.
