If you green it and mean it, Ekotik boutique is for you. Located inside the Doubletree Grand Hotel just north of downtown Miami, the shop houses natural, organic, recycled and eco-friendly items good for gift-giving.

”Hand painted wood toys from South Africa, handbags made of candy wrappers, home decor made of twisted potato chips bags, accessories made of vinyl discs,” are some of the non-clothing items the boutique sells, says sales director Adeline Bretoneche.

Already a fashion staple in Spain for more than 20 years, the recent Miami outpost is receiving a warm reception from South Florida greenies. Ekotik’s signature clothing line is made from Peruvian eco-cotton that’s ideal for Miami weather. Also on hand are recycled paper stationery, soy-based candles, spa goodies and organic toys.
