Herman Prior Gift Shop Holds Grand Reopening
Portage la Prairie, Manitoba – The gift shop at the Herman Prior Centre is finally open after two months of renovations. The Centre held a grand reopening Friday to celebrate the new look.
Herman Prior executive director Hope Faschoway, board member Zena Gaudreault, administrative assistant Debbie Drain, and gift shop volunteer Lisa Hiebert were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony Friday to officially reopen the gift shop.
Renovations included taking out the old shelving and replacing it, painting the entire gift shop, putting in new flooring, and trading in old stock for brand new items. The big wooden window shelving has been taken out and replaced with a cluster of paintings that are for sale.
