IMC senior vice president of marketing receives Outstanding Women in Business Award

International Market Center’s announces that Senior Vice President of Marketing Karen Olson has received an Outstanding Women in Business Award from Triad Business Journal in Greensboro, N.C. In its 18th year, the awards program not only recognizes women who are standouts in the business community, but who also are deeply committed to and engaged with their communities and the region as a whole.

“Karen Olson is a talented and valued member of our management team who is known for her business acumen and her marketing savvy,” said Bob Maricich, Chief Executive Officer of International Market Centers (IMC). “She is so deserving of this honor and we are pleased to see her recognized with this award.”

Olson heads the IMC marketing teams for both the High Point Market and Las Vegas Market, including brand marketing, creative and digital media team, public relations, corporate communications, retail relations and call center  functions. She has been with IMC for six years and was previously the VP of Marketing for Merchandise Mart Properties, and the Director of Marketing for Retail Systems Alert Group.

Each of the Women in Business Award honorees will be featured in a special issue of Triad Business Journal that will be published on April 28.
