Kentia Collective, LA Value Section highlight summer LAMKT

Offering West Coast retailers the ideal opportunity to discover fresh new categories, California-made specialties, global styles and artisan goods — the summer 2016 edition of LAMKT returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center July 22-25, with a Friday-to-Monday date pattern, special “Kentia Collective” spotlight, new LA Value section and more. Backed by the strong promotional alliance with the LA Mart, the summer market will bring a vast and versatile selection together for retailers looking to differentiate their store from the rest.

Now All in South Hall. Building upon the strategic rebranding and reorganizational strategy launched in January, LAMKT’s comprehensive selection is now all featured in South Hall. The layout brings exhibits — previously featured in two separate halls on different floors — all together in an expanded South Hall layout at the LA Convention Center. The new layout allowed for improved categorization of product and a clear delineation between sections, including the show’s popular Gifts, Makers’ Market, Personal Style, Boardwalk, World Style, Vintage and Jewelry Cash & Carry sections and newest additions too.

See the World at Kentia Collective. LAMKT’s popular World Style section, formerly located in Kentia Hall on the lower level of the convention center, brings its blend of Global Style and fashion resources to the South Hall show floor. The “Kentia Collective” brings the show’s popular World Style exhibitors together, including companies like Moosepablos Inc., Tesoros Trading Co., Cielito Lindo Studio, Dolma Inc., Peruvian Imports, R.Expo (USA) Inc./ Song of India, Lumily, Sedona Spirit, Eastern Elm, Culturas Trading Company, The BNB Crafts Inc. and Arara Enterprises.

Find Opportunity Buyers First in New LA Value Section. Buyers can get a jump on the summer trade show schedule and be first to find great opportunity buys from top name suppliers, including Southern California’s own Kole Imports and Four Seasons General Merchandise. This brand new section offers a wide range of surplus, closeout, discount and other merchandise in every product category — from apparel and giftware to seasonal and home accents.

United We Brand. The growing selection at LAMKT comes together with the permanent showrooms at the LA Mart (July 20-25) to offer western region retailers the top gift and home market in the west. Both venues will honor the other’s admission badges and provide complimentary shuttle service from select host hotels and between both venues.

Easy Expresspass Registration & Parking Rebate for Pre-Registered Buyers. Buyers are encouraged to take advantage of the show’s easy online ExpressPass registration. Simply log on to www.la-mkt.com and complete the application to receive an ExpressPass via email to bring to the show and scan with our onsite readers to quickly print out admission badge(s) upon arrival. As an added bonus, buyers who pre-register and bring their ExpressPass to the show are eligible for a $10 rebate on parking at the Los Angeles Convention Center lots (offer valid only from July 22-25). Buyers can look for more information on show site.

Show Amenities. Retailers can also take advantage of show specials offered by exhibitors, including discounts, free freight and more. And, to help them plan their buying schedule, attendees can visit the special Launching Pad and other Product Preview displays in the registration area before stepping on to the show floor.
