Las Vegas Market Continues Accelerated Gift Leasing With Addition of Industry Leaders

International Market Centers announced today that leading lifestyle suppliers — including powerhouse multi-line sales agency Fine Lines and Enesco, a global leader in gifts, plush toys and home décor – are re opening or expanding showrooms for the Winter 2014 Las Vegas Market, January 26-30, 2014, at World Market Center Las Vegas.

“Improved market performance and renewed confidence in the Las Vegas market is helping us to attract the industry’s foremost lifestyle brands, major multi-line rep groups and high-profile leaders,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “Not only are we continuing our progress towards a goal of +95% occupancy on existing floors, but we also are focusing on facilitating traffic flow and improving the overall buyer experience, as we work towards our three year goal to reposition Las Vegas market as the leading home furnishings and gift market in the western U.S.”

Leading Los Angeles-based multi-line rep agency Fine Lines is marking its 25th anniversary by showcasing its stellar assortment of brands in a new 11,106-square-foot showroom on C10. Fine Lines will be highlighting a wide assortment of top brand names in Las Vegas, including: Compendium, European Soap, Ephemera, Hillhouse, Jax & Bones, Kalastyle, Knock Knock, Lenny & Eva, Lucky Feather, Maileg, Mustard, Nelson Line, Pacifica, Paddywax, Present Time, Quotable, RFP, RSP, Roost, Shiraleah, Skeem, Soap & Paper, Sparq, Studio Manhattan and Waxing Poetic.

“It is clear to me that the Las Vegas Market is moving in the right direction and positioning itself as a leading national market center and that Fine Lines will benefit greatly from this,” explained Matt Katzenson, Fine Lines CEO.“The Las Vegas Market will give us national exposure and allow us to service a broader customer, and will serve as a platform to elevate our brand and share our vision of the rep agency model with the rest of the industry.”

Enesco, a global leader in the gift, plush toy and home décor industries, is opening an 11,818-square-foot showroom on C6 to showcase some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including its popular Department 56 collection, most recognized for its lighted Villages, Snowbabies figurines, Snowpinions, Possible Dreams and holiday decorations; the Gund collection, including Baby Gund, Boo, Grumpy Cat and Sesame Street; the Enesco Gift brands Jim Shore, Disney Showcase, Vera, lil’panda , Global & Vine, and Our Name Is Mud; and the Gregg Gift Legacy of Love lines.

“Enesco has not had a physical presence on the West Coast for several years; we know Las Vegas continues to be a growing market, and our Las Vegas showroom will benefit all divisions of Enesco LLC by providing exposure to new customers that don’t see our product offering at our other locations,” commented Tom Bowles, Enesco CEO. “We are excited about the opportunity and we feel confident it will be a successful move for us. Our customers have been asking us to open a showroom in Las Vegas, so we have high expectations.”

Other newcomers in the lifestyle category for Winter Market include Gerson, a designer and importer of seasonal merchandise, which is opening a new 6,000-square-foot showroom on C9; and Regal Art and Gifts, a leading supplier of yard art and Christmas ornaments, with a new 2,040-square-foot location on C8.

Several firms with existing showrooms are planning substantial expansions for Winter Market, including Transpac Imports, which is planning a 200% increase, to a 9,791-square-foot space on C6; Toyology, also expanding by 200% with an 8,268-square-foot showroom on C8; and Midwest CBK, with a 13,493-square-foot space on C9.
