Las Vegas Market debuts, expansions, renewals reflects home furnishings industry confidence

Las Vegas Market announced that furniture leasing activity continues to intensify, with more than 300,000 square feet of new, expanded and renewed showrooms already committed in advance of the Summer 2017 Las Vegas Market, July 30-August 3, 2017. Leasing activity has been brisk since Winter Market, with leading furniture resources committing to nine new showrooms, six expanded showrooms and eight renewals, and an early sell-out of home furnishings temporary exhibits on B2.

“Debuts, expansions and renewals by industry-leading suppliers are reflective of the home furnishings industry’s confidence in the state of the industry overall, as well as a strong indication of their commitment to the Las Vegas Market in particular,” said Scott Eckman, President of Furniture and Home Décor Leasing/ Chief Strategy Officer, International Market Centers (IMC). “No other U.S. market offers such a depth and breadth of key furniture, casual/outdoor and bedding resources, alongside such a wealth of complementary home décor and lifestyle gift offerings.”

Nine new furniture showrooms are debuting at Summer Market, including: case goods and upholstery supplier Apricot Sofa in 4,409-square-feet on B6; leading foam bedding manufacturer Carpenter in 2,574-square-feet on C15; furniture supplier Healthtec in 3,195-square-feet on A10; bedding manufacturer Marshall Mattress in 2,384-square-feet on on B9; bedding resource MLily USA in 5,000-square-feet on B9; motion furniture manufacturer OKIN in 1,381-square-feet on A7; casual and outdoor furniture supplier Seaside Casual in 1,559-square-feet on C4; case goods manufacturer Starway, in 3,698-square-feet on B6; and, as previously announced, leading upholstery and case goods manufacturer Vanguard Furniture, opening its first-ever West Coast showroom, in 3,250-square-feet on A1.

In addition, eight leading furniture resources are expanding showrooms in time for Summer Market, including: casual indoor and outdoor furniture resource Crosley Brands, expanding by 3,674-square-feet to 11,646-square-feet on A10; contemporary case goods and upholstery manufacturer Diamond Sofa, growing by 2,299-square-feet to more than 6,000-square-feet on B7; bedding and casual furniture supplier Fashion Bed Group, increasing by 4,864-square-feet to more than 22,000-square-feet on B13; case goods and upholstery supplier LH Imports, growing by 15,000-square-feet to more than 20,000-square-feet on C4; luxury bedding vendor Malouf, expanding by 2,288-square-feet to 6,455-square-feet on C15; adjustable bedding and accessories manufacturer Reverie, increasing by 3,339-square feet to more than 8,000-square-feet on B7; home furnishings manufacturer Bella Esprit expanding 1,200-square-feet to more than 7,000-square-feet and relocating to B12, and Home Insights and Turnkey, expanding 3,561-square-feet to more than to 6,000-square feet and relocating to A9.

Several other major furniture suppliers are renewing showroom commitments, notables include: affordable and functional furniture manufacturer Jofran in 13,691-square-feet on A8; solid wood furniture manufacturer A-America in 6,930-square-feet on A5; case goods supplier Crown Mark, in 19,474-square-feet on A6; upholstery maker Décor-Rest in 9,984-square-feet on A5; case goods and upholstery producer Flexsteel Industries in 35,898-square-feet on A5; solid wood furniture manufacturer RSF Home Trends & Design in 8,869-square-feet on B1; motion, upholstery and case goods producer Lifestyle Solutions in 11,000-square-feet on A7; upholstery manufacturer Palliser in 19,051-square-feet on B10; and custom upholstery producer Skyline Furniture in 3,333-square-feet on A9.

These new and returning furniture firms join an enormous variety of notable names with showrooms at Las Vegas Market, including: ACME, AICO, Ashley Furniture Industries, aspenhome, Bassett Furniture, Christopher Guy, Flexsteel, Four Hands, Heritage Home Group, Klaussner, Lexington Home Brands, Magnussen Home, New Classic and more.

Once again this summer, temporary home furnishings exhibition space on B2 is sold-out, with a record 85+ companies exhibiting.  Notable returning exhibitors include: Archbold Furniture Company, B S Trading, CabinetBed Inc., Flash Furniture, Fusion Designs, J. Horn Furniture, Millcraft Furniture, Million Dollar Rustic, Nordholtz, and Reemka Home Furnishings, among others.
