Las Vegas Market increases lifestyle, seasonal resources

Las Vegas Market has announced another significant round of lifestyle and seasonal leasing gains, with more than 31,000-square-feet of new and expanded showrooms and dozens of new temporary exhibits opening in time for the Summer 2017 Las Vegas Market, July 30-Aug. 3.

“Las Vegas Market continues its unmatched momentum among lifestyle and seasonal suppliers who recognize that Las Vegas Market offers business opportunity and return on investment,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift Leasing and chief marketing officer, International Market Centers. “As the nation’s fastest growing gift market, Las Vegas Market is adding innovative new resources in both showroom and temporary presentations, and expanding participation of industry-leading suppliers that are already exhibiting in Las Vegas.”

Growth has been particularly robust among suppliers of lifestyle merchandise, many of which have been drawn to the focused Lifestyle Collection on C10. Dallas-based multi-line sales agency Anne McGilvray & Company, for instance, is expanding for the second time in less than a year, adding 8,000-square-feet to bring its showroom to a total of 27,300 square feet. Dallas-based multiline sales agency Diverse Marketing, which just opened its C10 showroom at the Winter 2017 Market, is enlarging its showroom to a total of 5,300 square feet. Natural Life, a supplier of handcrafted inspirational treasures and boho décor will debut a 340-square-foot micro showroom on C10; and multiline gift, home décor and accessories supplier Under Stella’s Umbrella also will open a 340-square-foot micro showroom on C10 for Summer Market.

Gift and seasonal merchandise also will have substantial and sizeable additions and expansions for Summer Market. Newcomers include Los Angeles-based multi-line agency F.E.M. Sales, opening a 6,300-square-foot showroom on C8; Wild Things Unlimited, debuting a 1,500-square-foot location on C9; and a “Best of Show” showcase, a unique three-company collective debuting a 4,082-square-foot showroom on C8. The three “Best of Show” principles, who are Millennials – Molly Wilson, chief executive of molly&drew, a gourmet powerhouse pairing consumers love of beer with delicious bread mixes; Ben Torrens, chief executive of Think Pray Gift, inspiring the gift industry with breathtaking color-changing story mugs and unique art and gift items; and industry veteran Paul Lowrie, known for William Randall Publishing’s beloved CHAT PACK, the bestselling icebreaker question cards – will feature their own products, as well as an additional nine lines, including: Carvers Ridge, Clic Eyewear, Cloister Honey, Da Bomb Bath Fizzers, Donabelashreds, Milkhouse Candle Company, Savory Fine Foods, Sun Leaf Naturals and Wood You Tell Me.

Three existing gift and seasonal suppliers are planning major expansions for Summer Market. Leading seasonal gift and home décor supplier Midwest-CBK is adding 3,500-square-feet, bringing its total showroom space to 17,026 square feet on C9; Designs Combined, Inc., an importer and wholesaler of home decor and seasonal products, is relocating and expanding to a 6,700-square-foot location on C7; and Colorado-based multiline sales agency NEST Inc. (New Era Sales Team) is expanding by 2,300 square feet, to a 11,118-square-foot space on C8.

Some 50-plus leading gift and lifestyle resources also will be featured in the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market.  New-to-Market vendors Baggalinni and JaxKelly Inc. will debut in the GIFT category; and A Primary, Abrazo Style and Aroara Industries will debut in the HANDMADE section of Pavilion 1. Other notable lifestyle vendors returning to the Pavilions for Summer Market include: American Design Club and Cose Nuove in the DESIGN section; Chandler Candle, Crown Linen Designs, Fairgoods, Karen Lu Home Couture, Love and Luck Greetings, Rendezvous: French Style Living, The Grommet and Yogibo in GIFT; and Rustico, Looksur and Mata Traders in HANDMADE.

Las Vegas Market features thousands of gift, furniture and home décor lines, allowing for cross-category commerce among these industries. The Summer 2017 Las Vegas Market runs July 30-Aug. 3. For more information, visit www.lasvegasmarket.com.
