Las Vegas Market reports more than 90 percent occupancy on gift floors

Las Vegas Market announced that 13 major gift resources including leading suppliers Kurt S. Adler, New Era Sales and Solutions Marketplace are opening showrooms totaling more than 45,500 square feet on floors C8 and C9 at the Winter 2016 Las Vegas Market, held Jan. 24-28, 2016.
“Las Vegas Market is continuing to record large occupancy gains in gift and home décor showrooms, dramatically enhancing both resource density and quality,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “With these latest additions, floor C8 is nearly sold-out and floor C9 is nearly 90% occupied with some of the industry’s leading gift, holiday and seasonal suppliers.  As the leading furniture, home décor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market is dedicated to presenting a compelling and diverse array of resources for its growing retail base.”

Three new anchor tenants — Kurt Adler, New Era Sales and Solutions Marketplace — join existing C8 anchors burton + BURTON, Next Step Reps and OneCoast this January. New York-based Kurt Adler, a leading importer of holiday decorations and seasonal merchandise, will debut an 8,700-square-foot location; Denver-based multi-line sales agency New Era Sales will present a broad assortment of gifts, garden accessories, paper goods, fashion accessories, home décor, toys and resort products in a new 8,818-square-foot space; and Solutions Marketplace, a collaborative effort by the top seven sales agencies west of the Mississippi — DNA Sales, Gift Street & Fashion Street, Hiskey & Company, Krysan & Associates, Next Step Reps, Cliff Price Companies, and Stack & Company — will premiere an 8,000-square-foot showroom.

This January, C8 also welcomes the relocation of well-known gift and home décor supplier Catherine Lillywhite’s to a new 2,288-square-foot showroom — an increase of nearly 45 percent — to better showcase an eclectic mixture of handcrafted decorative merchandise, holiday items, gifts, decorative and personal accessories.

Another eight new suppliers totaling 17,500-square-feet of space will debut on C9 in January, joining anchor tenants DEMDACO, Ganz and Midwest-CBK, as well as Evergreen Enterprises’ previously announced first-of-its-kind, digital showroom. C9 newcomers include Bethany Lowe Designs (vintage-inspired holiday); Cheung’s Rattan (seasonal and home décor); Dekorayson Gifts & Décor (seasonal and high end home décor); R-Biz Associates (toys, games and novelties sales agency); Stony Creek (candles and seasonal); PolarX Ornament and Gift (holiday and gift); Unipak Designs (plush); and Wing Tai International Inc.(seasonal and home décor).

Other highlights of Winter Market include continued expansion in the gourmet, housewares and casual/outdoor furniture categories; a major expansion of temporary exhibition space with the addition of a second location to The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market; enrichment of better home décor offerings; and the enhancement of top furniture resources, and leading gift and lifestyle vendors.
