Las Vegas Market to open third pavilion for winter market

Las Vegas Market revealed dynamic expansion and realignment plans for winter market that include the debut of a new 15,000-square-foot Pavilion as well as fresh concentrations of existing gift and home décor resources. In total, the winter 2018 Market will present 500+ temporary gift and home décor exhibitors in three pavilions, totaling 165,000 square feet of exhibit space.

The third independent temporary exhibitor show space to open on the World Market Center campus, Pavilion 3 will be devoted exclusively to DISCOVERIES: The Antique Vintage Marketplace during winter market, January 28–February 1, 2018. In Pavilions 1 and 2, buyers will enjoy easy, efficient and convenient access to new concentrations of existing gift and home décor resources. This expansion and realignment is designed specifically to address the Market’s significant growth in gift and home décor temporary exhibitors and to accommodate the new Artexpo Contemporary Las Vegas premiere in Pavilion 2.

With the addition of Artexpo Contemporary Las Vegas, Las Vegas Market becomes the only major west coast furniture, gift and home décor venue to present a fine art component. The new Artexpo Contemporary Las Vegas pop-up show is being presented in partnership with Redwood Media Group (RMG), which owns and operates fine art shows across the country, including the world’s largest fine art show, Artexpo New York.

The newly opened Pavilion 3 will house DISCOVERIES at Las Vegas Market, a unique resource for one-of-a-kind products including vintage, global and repurposedrecycled clothing and jewelry all appropriate for resale and/or display. Pavilion 3 also will showcase global and cash & carry merchandise and with all items available for immediate delivery and order-writing.  Pavilion 3 will present a total of 15,000+ square feet of exhibit space.

Along with the Artexpo Contemporary Las Vegas debut, Pavilion 2 will showcase, the HOME category, the newly named DESIGN HOME – a rebranding of the existing B HOME categories featuring interior designer inspired products – along with DISCOVERIES exhibitors showcasing vintage, antiques, antiquities, found objects and one-of-a-kind furnishings and accessories. Buyers and designers shopping Pavilion 2 will be able to source and buy from some 65,000 square feet of home décor resources, including fine art, home textiles, wall paper, lighting, high-end décor, antiques, antiquities, global and more. The combination of these categories in Pavilion 2 is designed to serve Las Vegas Market’s rapidly-growing base of interior designers, architects, hospitality executives and upscale retailers.

Pavilion 1 will be realigned to encompass the current GIFT and HANDMADE categories at Las Vegas Market, as well as a newly created category called DESIGN LIFESTYLE a juried category featuring design-led gift and home resources. Buyers visiting Pavilion 1 will find some 85,000 square feet of exhibit space, showcasing a comprehensive selection of product categories including jewelry, seasonal, housewares and gourmet products, personal care, edibles, children’s merchandise and toys, stationery and design-led products.  Additionally, Pavilion 1 will showcase Artisanal LA, the Los Angeles based pop-up show of makers and artisans, as well as the debut of an ATA (Aid To Artisans) hosted section of global artisans.  Pavilion 1 also will house an educational theater for onsite seminars.

Las Vegas Market has been experiencing increasing demand for temporary exhibition space, with temporary gift and home décor exhibits surpassing 500+ for first time at the recently concluded Summer Market. Of this record total, some 100+ were new, returning and renewing companies. In winter 2018, Las Vegas Market will showcase 500+ exhibitors in three pavilions, showcasing a total of 165,000 square feet of gift and home décor temporary resources.
