Mad Style announces distribution agreement for Australia, New Zealand

Mad Style, a fashion and lifestyle brand, announced that it has finalized a distribution agreement with Minette Trading Pty, Ltd based in Sydney, Australia.

The launch, which will take place in August of this year, will focus on their successful Men’s line, Mad Man, using an International Direct Distribution Model. The companies Asia based sourcing arm, (Made In China), will warehouse, pick and pack and ship orders directly to both retailers and consumers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Douglas Stein, CEO of Mad Style LLC stated, “We have been looking for a way to test an International Direct Distribution Model for several years and are thrilled to partner with Minette Trading to launch Mad Man in Australia and New Zealand. We already have facilities and terrific people on the ground in our Mad in China operation, so we will be able to take advantage of the global benefits, and opportunities that IDD can provide. For us, Mad Man is perfectly suited for this type of distribution, due to the universal style standards and slower moving trends for men’s gifts, accessories and overall fashion.”

A successful execution of the model in Australia and New Zealand would open the door for continued global expansion of the Mad Man brand throughout Europe, the Middle East and South America, while expanding the direct shipping model from their Mad in China operation.

“I have been saying for a long time that if someone can produce an exclusive range of men’s gifts under a strong brand name, well packaged and priced, they will experience great success,” stated Lynette Cameron, CEO of Minette Trading. “The stores in our region experiencing the strongest growth are lifestyle gift stores. We believe that these stores should not limit themselves to women’s products only.”
