New Lines, Designs Spotlight AmericasMart July Market

Atlanta, GA — The world’s single largest collection of gift product will again be showcased as AmericasMart hosts the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market July 13 through the 20th (with Temporaries taking place Friday, July 15 through Tuesday, July 19) and The Atlanta International Area Rug Market July 14 through the 17.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary year, AmericasMart’s depth and breadth of product offerings, gift-specific seminars and guest speakers help define the July Market, with gift taking center stage in Building Two and Two WestWing and across the Temporary product collections. Enhancing and expanding access to the burgeoning Building Two product mix is the newly configured corridor on floor 9, which will give July Market buyers added ease and convenience in discovering new product resources.

Those resources grow in selection and diversity this July with Market buyers discovering the growing convergence of gift and home décor in lifestyle merchandising, particularly on floors 10-13 in Building Two.

Joining that trend will be a strong showing of toys and the still-hot vintage and repurposed products. The synergy between housewares and gift/tabletop continues to grow stronger, triggered by the launch of Living & Entertaining, which offers still more variety — especially for themed decorating and themed seasons. Floors 10-13 will focus on home accents for gift retailers. July 2011 will see the debut of a new seminar room in Building 2, floor 9, in which gift-specific seminars, events and guest speakers will educate and entertain buyers in the convenience of facilities adjacent to featured product collections. Also enriching and enlivening the gift-rich market experience will be a series of featured events, including:
