Small store, but choices galoreBy Tony HoltHernandoToday.com

Brooksville – They sell custom clothes and accessories from wrap dresses to neckties.

They embroider everything from aprons to baseball caps.

The city’s newest shop owners also can sell uniquely designed tumblers and sippy cups.

Sweet T Boutiques might be a small store, but it has an impressively vast selection.

“People want something different,” said co-owner Jana Knox. “Those who want to get someone a more-thoughtful gift, they come here.”

The store, located at 10 W. Jefferson St., opened in March. Business has been slow going, but both Knox and Heather Tuttle are not taking long getting organized and getting the word out.

They already have begun distributing flyers at spas, tanning salons and other female-focused businesses. They don’t just focus on Brooksville. Their advertising also is sprouting throughout Spring Hill.

People will drive the extra 10-15 miles if they know they’re buying something unique, said Tuttle.

“A lot of our lines are exclusive boutique,” she said. “They can’t be sold just anywhere … You’re not going to find any of this at JCPenney.”

Men and women alike who are sports fans and are partial to a particular sports team would be interested in seeing the types of clothes and accessories sold at the store. If the colors or designs aren’t already on it, it can be printed or embroidered.
