NSS Takes to Social Media to Communicate with Show Participants

White Plains, NY – The National Stationery Show® (NSS) is building momentum on several social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, creating Show buzz and generating communication with and among NSS participants as the May 16-19 event approaches.

“Social media sites are becoming increasingly important for impromptu business discussion, in a world that has become accustomed to instant feedback and news,” said Patti Stracher, show manager. “Websites such as Twitter, Facebook and others are helping us to communicate quickly and concisely in a way that works for busy professionals on the go.”

To date, NSS has gained nearly 600 Twitter followers, attracted more than 60 Facebook fans within two days of launching, and seen nearly 3,000 hits on a YouTube video that provides an in-depth look at the 2009 Show. Industry professionals can follow any of the NSS social media sites by clicking the icons located at the bottom of the NSS homepage at www.nationalstationeryshow.com.
