NY NOW running Feb. 4-8 with trends in home, lifestyle and gift

NY NOW, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift, kicked off Feb. 4 and was expected to bring thousands of attendees and more than 2,400 emerging and leading established brands together at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York. Running Feb. 4-8, NY NOW is divided into three collections: HOME, LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE. Each collection is comprised of thousands of innovative products created by designers who perfectly balance design and function.

“NY NOW’s winter 2017 market provides buyers and editors with a comprehensive look at emerging trends so they can anticipate consumer demands in the coming year,” said Scott Kramer, vice president and NY NOW codirector. “We pride ourselves on bringing thousands of incredible brands together to provide attendees with unparalleled access to designers, new products and exciting events.”

Thousands of On-Trend Products from Established and Emerging Brands
Tens of thousands of inventive products will be shown at the NY NOW winter 2017 market. Most notably, many exhibitors will have exclusive product launches at the show, providing a first-look opportunity for buyers and the industry. Industry Insights and Continued Learning
To provide thousands of attendees with the most on-trend information, the NY NOW seminar program offers a jam-packed schedule of more than 30 different sessions for attendees and exhibitors who would like to expand their knowledge or advance their career or business. NY NOW’s full range of educational programming will cover compelling industry topics ranging from color and design trends, digital media, retail strategies and more. Seminars are led by leading trade and consumer publications and industry associations and will provide attendees with new insights on our industry and invigorate them to succeed. Awards
NY NOW also brought back its “Best New Product” Awards program for the winter 2017 market. Hundreds of exhibiting brands pre-submitted products for consideration and one winner will be selected from the ten sections that comprise the HOME, LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE Collections. The 10 category winners will then be entered to the win the “Best in Market” as selected by Apartment Therapy. Additional awards will be given out at NY NOW’s winter 2017 market, including the “Best Exclusive Launch” Award, Eco Choice Awards, and the Accent on Design Awards. Winners will be announced during the market and on www.nynow.com.

Displays
Product introductions will once again make headlines with the return of NY NOW’s popular sustainability: design for a better world and destination:new product displays. More than 280 exhibiting companies will participate in the two displays, making them the most innovative and design-forward showcases to date! The sustainability: design for a better world product display will showcase environmentally-conscious and socially-responsible products from manufacturers from around the world while the destination:new display will highlight exhibitors with new product introductions including launches exclusive to the winter market.
