Olney Chamber Launches Contest to Encourage Shoppers to Spend LocallyBy Terri HoganGazette.net

Olney, MD – Calling all shoppers and sleuths.

To encourage residents of greater Olney to shop locally, the Olney Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a contest — I Spy Olney.

The chamber has photographed items in 10 businesses in greater Olney. These photos will be posted to the chamber website today. To enter the contest, visit www.olneymd.org. Click the “I Spy Olney” link and identify the photos for a chance to win a $100 gift card to use in the greater Olney area.

Ellen Coleman, board member and chair of the chamber’s Business Development committee, said she came up with the idea to promote the chamber’s ongoing I Buy Olney campaign.
