Peninsula is Getting New Trail Mix Store
Peninsula, OH – The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park is turning an old railroad car into a new shopping venue in Peninsula.
The rail car, on loan from the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, will be parked on a rail spur north of state Route 303. It will be called Trail Mix, Peninsula, and should open by Memorial Day, said Deb Yandala, president and chief executive of the conservancy, a friends-of-the-park group.
It will be used until the fall, when the store moves into its new leased site off Mill Street close to the Peninsula Depot and the Lock 29 Trailhead.
