Pumpernickel Press takes home a LOUIE

For the second straight year Pumpernickel Press took home a LOUIE. This year’s winner was the card “Bird Village” featuring artwork from John Obolewicz. The win came in the category of “Best Christmas, General” and is a proud addition to last years win and the company’s first ever entry in the competition, “Holiday Hound”.

The LOUIE wasn’t the only thing Pumpernickel was celebrating in New York though. Debuting at the show was a brand new line to the company of “Pumpernickel Petites”, which are a smaller card offering compared to their standard large sized cards. The petite line features boxed cards of both Christmas and blank notes. The holiday line, entitled Christmas Biscuits, and the blank note line, entitled Bow & Sparrow, were each a huge hit among store owners and fellow exhibitors. Loved by all, these small cards made a large and lasting impact their first week on the market.

Upon return to PP’s Virginia headquarters, the good news continued as the Pumpernickel family learned that the month of May was the best in the company’s ten year history. Already a year of celebration, 2007 is proving to be more than an anniversary, but a year of milestones. For more information, please visit: pumpernickelpress.com
