Rocky Mountain Gift Show experiences strong turnout

The Denver Mart witnessed a strong turnout in late August at the Rocky Mountain Gift Show, detailing the continuation of the highest quality tradeshow in the Rocky Mountain region. With an increase in overall buyers — including 9 percent new buyers and 175 new stores — the Denver Gift Show felt infused with new initiative.

The Denver Gift Show coincided with the Denver Apparel and Accessory Market as well as the Floral Expo. Both shows contributed greatly to the atmosphere and buyer attendance to the show. The Floral Expo contest created aromatic arrangements, stirring conversation and implemented beauty. The Denver Apparel and Accessory Market held a stunning fashion show during the Saturday night appreciation dinner, held for all buyers and exhibitors, encouraging networking amongst almost 400 guests. The fashion show exhibited over 70 outfits from 16 of the mart’s permanent showrooms and captivated the audience with dispersed modeling tactics.

Amongst the constant sourcing of products, Denver Gift Show attendees were offered educational seminars, led by renown speaker David Cholewa, on “How to Succeed in Today’s Every Changing Marketplace” and back by popular demand, Laura Lee Ullrich, who spoke on “Merchandising Magic for Jewelry & Accessories.” They were also invited to partake in the Saturday and Sunday “Margaritaville” Happy Hour. For a singular dollar donation the Gift Show director herself poured fresh Margaritas for content consumers raising $664 towards the Wounded Warrior Project.

Finally, eight lucky buyers were presented with swag bag opportunities throughout the entirety of the event. Packed with product from multiple different vendors, the swag bags provided an array of goods from candles and blankets to jewelry, all which made each winner overjoyed.

The Denver Mart looks forward to serving exhibitors and buyers at the next Rocky Mountain Gift Show, set for Feb. 26-29, 2016.
