Bishop’s Stortford, UK – SHOPPERS are being urged to support Bishop’s Stortford’s high street as part of a ‘Buy Local’ initiative backed by the town’s independent retailers.

Throughout this week’s inaugural Buy Local Week, shopkeepers are encouraging customers to change the way they spend in a bid to boost the town’s economy.

The campaign, which is being supported by The Best of Bishop’s Stortford, has been born out of growing frustrations over the amount of shops and services closing down.
