Store Adds Mexican Pottery to Decorative Inventory
Grafton, IL – Iron Decor N’ More, known for its ironworks and kinetic wind sculptures, just added a new type of artistry to its mix that possesses a style native to Mexico.
Talavera pottery of Puebla, Mexico, is a type of majolica pottery, distinguishable by a milky-white glaze. Iron Decor N’ More owner John Everett obtained an inventory from a fellow business owner who closed his shop. But the talavera aesthetic fits nicely into Iron Decor N’ More’s inventory.
In the past, Everett traveled several times a year to Mexico to buy supplies for the business he started 12 years ago in Grafton at 1406 W. Main St., where Iron Decor N’ More artisans have designed and masterfully crafted medieval chandeliers to backyard barbecue pits.
