Berkeley Heights, NJ – Watch out Abercrombie, Hollister, and Aéropostale: There’s a recently opened, independently owned shop in Berkeley Heights that caters to tweens and teens. Summer’s Boutique features clothing from established and up-and-coming brands for girls (as well as women).

Opening the boutique came quite quickly for Carol Huber of Warren, who owns and operates the shop. “When we came up with the idea, I wanted to have a bond with my daughter to pull us together,” said Huber.

Huber’s 14-year-old daughter, Summer, is the name, idea and the fashion behind the boutique. “This is how we started — my daughter loves to try on clothes,” Huber said.
