Holden, MA – John Goodhile takes his chocolate seriously, all day long.

He recently opened Stewart’s Chocolates, in the circa 1803 white house by Goodhile’s Store at the corner of Wachusett and Manning streets. And since Goodhile lives over the store, he’s working on his products from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“I start thinking about it the minute I wake up,” he said. That’s when he heads downstairs to turn on equipment and start the three-hour process of prepping the chocolate before it’s handfashioned into delectable candies.
